Eclipse Physical Therapy & Wellness is owned and operated by Dan Millrood EdM, PT. The mission of the practice is to utilize cutting edge clinical skills in a comfortable and personal environment to identify all rehabilitation needs of the patient and provide the highest quality of care. This mission utilizes a multi-disciplinary health care team approach to provide the most comprehensive treatment in an environment that is paced to the individual needs of the patient. The focus of our mission is to return individuals of all ages and ability levels to the maximum functional potential in a timely fashion.

In addition to providing rehabilitation services, Dan provides consultation in a non-invasive cost effective prevention services, and health and wellness promotion services to assist our clients in the prevention of injury and disease and the maintenance of optimal physical function. From newborn to geriatric, sedentary to athlete, no matter your level of function, Eclipse Physical Therapy will care for all of your rehabilitation and wellness needs.

Dan Millrood PT EdM is a specialist in Physical Rehabilitation and Wellness. He received his undergraduate degree in Bio-psychology and Masters degrees in Physical Therapy and Applied Physiology from Columbia University.

Dan has more than 30 years of PT experience in a variety of settings with specialization in out-patient physical therapy. He consistently extends his effort toward increasing public awareness in the benefits of preventative and rehabilitative healthcare, and is a proactive healthcare consumer advocate.

Dan is also an adjunct professor at Dominican College, and provides guest lecturing as well as authoring a text for the American Physical Therapy Association "Adult Fitness Examination-A Physical Therapy based approach and related software aimed at promoting Physical Therapy in preventive healthcare and health promotion and wellness. His work has been published in peer reviewed journals such as The American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine.
